Organic Farming Methods
Organic Farming simply means growing crops the old fashioned traditional way without the usage of any chemical fertilizers or chemical pesticides. (i) Genetically unmodified seeds are chosen to grow the crops (ii) The soil is prepared and fertilized by using animal waste or methods such as crop rotation which put back nutrients in the soil and thus ensure that the desired crop gets flooded with all the elements it needs to grow fully and well. (iii) During the growth of the plants, no synthetic pesticides or weedicides to ward of the pests. More traditional methods are used or organic pesticides made from plant source are used, even at the cost of affecting the yield. So what reaches your hands are chemical free, pesticide free foods.
